THRIVE – 4 Bedroom + 1B.Q. Semidetached Duplex

Design Scheme 4 [DS4]
The Semidetached "Thrive" Design Scheme 4 is a scheme that entices you with the openness and progression of its spaces as they intertwine with one another. The elements of light and texture in this design are used remarkably with subtlety to define each space uniquely. With its characteristic strong colours, it is able to draw your eyes into the many details that make up each space while simultaneously evoking an enviable yet soothing homely feel.

The fluidity of the ground floor spaces is a show stopper. With an open plan design, the ground floor is dominated by the living room, dining , kitchen areas which flow seamlessly into one another.

The upper floor with three bedrooms and a family lounge is invigorated with captivating furniture pieces, textures and rich hues.

The decor of the anteroom is bold, dramatic and seductive; the spark of orange on the plush dark rug is an added little current of excitement running through the space like a skillfully crafted work of art.

The lavish collection of upscale accessories in this living room is topped with the luxury furniture. The amazing wall detail with the recessed wood background gives an interesting drive-by feel.

The living room view beams with a tremendous aesthetic appeal created by some nifty functional additions such as the multi-level display shelving and the different sofa types and colours.

This view captures full attention; beauty is demonstrated through pure functionality. The lovely polka dot detail on the cream sofa adds the accent to the furniture.

This dining room combines art and tradition in interesting ways; the wenge table with sturdy footing echoes tradition while the creamy upholstered chairs screams style. The series of white shelves above the dining sideboard in natural wood, tie in both minimalism and functionality.

This white and wood kitchen with the open plan arrangement will become a place that will always draw the family in. With the extra shelving beneath the stairway, more storage is catered for uniquely.

The simplicity of the kitchen island is enhanced by the white and wood cabinetry which is also laced with the black marble of the counter top. The first level of the top cabinets in natural wood is recessed and this adds depth and a defined character to the overall feel of the space.

Climbing up the stairway and meeting this family lounge feels like a warm embrace! The TV wall is accented with wood which spans to the ceiling and to the adjacent wall. As a family meeting space, the ambience bubbles and gives off a warm and homely effect. With activities that keep the family together, the furniture pieces and lovely arrangement keep things cozy and alive.

Inside the master bedroom, the cushioned design and headboard of the master bed is a classic arrangement. Open shelving in natural wood match the brownish monochrome hues of the plush center rug. The dresser with the large mirror (beside the TV) is a lovely ensemble.

The upholstered ottoman has a regal but subtle appearance which adds acalming gesture to the ambience. The celebrated reading/study section with theworkstation and top cabinets maximize the functionality of this master bedroomwhile also blending with the wood ledges of the TV wall. The walls are sparselyadorned with black and white wall art pieces which is the right amount of blingthat suits the space.

The highlight of the master bathroom is the nifty arrangement of thesanitary fittings; the close-coupled WC and the wash-hand sink (both withvanities) face the shower with glass cubicle. The beige flooring is a goodcontrast for the WC vanity wall in dark chocolate marble (same as the countertop of the wash-hand sink vanity). The creamy background wall tiles with faintbrown streaks is subtle enough and blends adequately.

The passion for detailed design translated into the Thrive Design Scheme 4 can easily be seen in how our design team laid out the spaces and in the choice of the interior elements.
